Guided Tissue Regeneration |
Guided Tissue Regeneration refers to procedures that attempt to regenerate lost periodontal structures (bone, periodontal ligament, and connective tissue attachment) that support our teeth. This is accomplished using biocompatible membranes, often in combination with bone grafts and/or tissue stimulating proteins.
Bone Grafting
Tiny fragments of your own bone, synthetic bone, or some from a bone bank are placed into areas of lost bone. These grafts act as a platform on which bone can regrow, restoring stability in your teeth.
